Merry Christmas Jude

This year was Jude's first Christmas. We celebrated on Christmas Eve because of work schedules. But it took Jude almost a week to open his presents and like many other babies his age, he was way more excited about the wrapping paper:)

Even though Jude was only 5 months during his first Christmas he was already shaking and unwrapping presents early:)


Christmas Eve Day Jude got his first taste of baby food. He ate sweet potatoes for the first time.

Christmas Eve Night Jude was super fussy and Paul found that Jude's first tooth had cut through. Poor little guy!!! Jude Got his second tooth Today December 29, 2009.

The week before Christmas Jude went to visit Santa, not sure what he asked Santa for but it made Santa laugh pretty hard.



The last week has been one full of milestones for little Jude. We look forward to seeing him grow and change over the next year!!:)

Jude Participates in the Epilepsy Freedom Walk

Jude Participated in the Epilepsy Freedom Walk October 18, 2009 at Griffith Park in LA with Mom and Dad. We walked as a family in support for the Hemi Foundation. We walked with Rachel Waters, Aiden Waters, Jason McCormack, Dawn Buirley, and Christen Buirley. Here are some pictures from the event.

Jude is 4 Months Old

Jude turned 4 Months old yesterday October 27, 2009. Today was Jude's 4 Month Dr's appointment.

Height: 25 1/4 inches

Jude had his second major set of vaccinations and did ok only shedding tears until we got home and he was mostly smiles intermixed with cranky spells!

Jude's First Trip to A Pumpkin Patch

Today was Jude's first trip to a Pumpkin Patch. We visited one close to home Tanaka Farms - Pumpkin Patchin Irvine California. We think Jude had fun, as evidenced by no meltdown until it started to get cold out. We hope this is the first of many family trips to this particular farm!:)

Jude IS Laughing!

Today is so great! Jude is learning to laugh, he had his first outloud loud laugh today. He is so ticklish especially under his arms! He also sat up today by himself:)As you can see below:)

Learning To Hold Myself Up

Jude has been learning to sit up against various pillows for a long time now. I'm just finally getting some snapshots of our little man showcasing his talents!:)

Jude's First Visit to the Mountains

August 10-11,2009 Was Jude's first visit to the mountains. We took a trip with Paul, Bek, Jude and Uncle Allan to the small mountain community of Idyllwild, CA. We stayed at the Idyllwild Inn. Here are some pictures from our trip.

Jude's 2 Month Check Up

Jude's 2 month check up was today. Jude is 23 1/2 inches now and 11
lbs 7 oz. He got all his scheduled vaccinations. Good job Jude!:)
